This we Know
You are Who You say You are
You’ll do what You say You’ll do
You’ll be Who You’ve always been to us…Jesus
Our hope is in You alone
Our strength in Your mighty Name
Our peace in the darkest day remains…Jesus
Chorus
This we know
We will see the enemy run
This we know
We will see the victory come
We hold on to every promise You ever made
Jesus, You are unfailing
Our God through the wilderness
And our joy in the heaviness
Our way when it seems there is no way…Jesus
(Chorus)
Bridge
We trust You, We trust You
Your ways are higher than our own (X4)
(Chorus X2)
…Jesus, You are unfailing X2
Same God
I’m calling on
The God of Jacob
Whose love endures
Through generations
I know that You
Will keep Your covenant
I’m calling on
The God of Moses
The One who opened
Up the ocean
I need You now to do
The same thing for me
Chorus
O God my God I need You
O God my God I need You now
How I need You now
O Rock O Rock of Ages
I’m standing on Your faithfulness
On Your faithfulness
I’m calling on
The God of Mary
Whose favor rests
Upon the lowly
I know with You
All things are possible I’m calling on
The God of David
Who made a
Shepherd boy courageous
I may not face Goliath
But I’ve got my own giants
(Chorus)
Bridge
You heard Your children then
You hear Your children now
You are the same God
You are the same God
You answered prayers back then
And You will answer now
You are the same God
You are the same God
You were providing then
You are providing now
You are the same God
You are the same God
You moved in power then
God move in power now
You are the same God
You are the same God
You were a healer then
You are a healer now
You are the same God
You are the same God
You were a Savior then
You are a Savior now
You are the same God
You are the same God
(Chorus)
I’m calling on the Holy Spirit
Almighty river come
And fill me again

CLOSING SONG
Jesus You Alone
Who is the great King of glory
Seated on high in the heavens?
Oh-oh-oh, Jesus, You alone
You are the Lord God Almighty
Strong in compassion and mercy
Oh-oh-oh, Jesus, You alone
Chorus 1
I’ve searched the world,
for a love that could fill my heart
but nothing compares to the wonder of
who You are
Holy, all the earth singing Holy
All the angels cry Holy, Jesus,
You alone–Jesus, You alone, oh
You set the stars in the heavens
You set the world into motion
Oh-oh-oh, Jesus, You alone
You breathed Your life in creation
You walked among Your created
Oh-oh-oh, Jesus, You alone
Chorus 2
Holy, all the earth singing
Holy, all the angels cry
Holy, Jesus, You alone–
Worthy, all creation sings
Worthy, all the heavens exalt Thee
Jesus, You alone
You shed Your blood for salvation
You broke the curse for our freedom
Oh-oh-oh, Jesus, You alone
You rose from death with the morning
You’ll come again in Your glory
Oh-oh-oh, Jesus, You alone- (repeat)
(Chorus 2)
Chorus 3
Holy, I can’t help but sing Holy
How my heart cries out Holy, Jesus,
Worthy, I lift my voice and sing, worthy
I bow my life to exalt Thee
Jesus You alone Jesus You alone
BLESSING
Welcome to the Table
Come to this table not because you must but because you may
Not because you are strong but because you are weak
Come not because of any goodness of your own gives you
the right to come but because you need mercy and help
Come because you’ve a little and you would like to live even more
Come because God loves you
Come and meet the risen Christ for He is the bread of life
Confession
“ The sad irony of our day is that we can be deeply committed to
being a Christian but not deeply formed by Christ” Rich Villodas.
(Congregation joins in where text is bold)
O Lord, you are our shepherd,
and yet we sometimes live like sheep without a shepherd.
We lie down when we could act,
We stir the pot when we could offer peace,
We wander tempting paths instead of following you.
We seek courage and comfort in earthly things rather than in you.
We hate our enemies and refuse to break bread with them,
We see scarcity even when you offer us abundance.
Forgive us, we pray.
May we dwell with You forever. Amen.
Jesus says: 29 “Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble
and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear,
and the burden I give you is light.”
– Matt 11:29-30
Communion
We come together around this table of memories.
It is not that we deserve to be here. This is not a right to be earned.
This is not a reward to be achieved. This is a gift which can only be accepted
from our forgiving and generous God.
We proclaim the mystery of our faith:
Christ was birthed among us.
Christ was killed among us.
Christ rises again among us.
It was at a table like this that Jesus shared His last meal with His followers.
We lift the bread as He did. We break it as He did. And we share it remembering His words:
“My body is broken for you. Eat and remember me.”
We also lift the cup as He did. And we share it remembering His words:
“My blood flows for you. Drink and remember me”.
“Go into all the world,” said Jesus;
We go to make His loving words heard.
“What you do for the least, you do for Me,” said Jesus;
We go to make His loving deeds seen.
“I will never drive away any who come to me,” said Jesus;
We go to make His loving invitation known.
May the love of God, the Three-in-One, fill our hearts and make us
one with God, and with all of God’s children,
And may we grow in that love now and always. Amen
